Qualifying Format
The format of the British Championship, consists of a number of qualiyifing rounds. Usually, where possible an equal number of shale and tarmac in the early months of the season. This produces an overall list of points scored and the grid is formed with the highest points scorer on pole, second place on the outside front etc. Points are awarded from the qualifying rounds heat races only (ie not the double scoring final) in the normal manner, 10 for the win, 9 for second, 8 for third etc.
British Championship Final
The British Final is run as the first race of the chosen meeting and the winner is declared British Champion and may support black and white chequers on their roof.
Qualifying Rounds
Details of British qualifying Rounds will be released when the fixture list is completed.
Starting grid for the British will be announced when all of the qualifying rounds have been completed.
